Let’s help your baby develop healthy sleeping habits from a young age. Sleep training your baby will help you improve these very important facets of your baby's life.
We believe sleep is one of the more important aspects of a baby's development and equally important for parents; infancy is a challenging period, so our mission is to help ease any sleeping issues your child might be going through. Working alongside a sleep consultant will help your family get much needed rest.
The word “training” might sound scary or rigorous but is not at all harmful or detrimental to your child! We will be helping them learn how to fall sleep on their own, reviewing their schedules to make sure they are getting the correct amount of daytime and nighttime sleep so they can make the most out of their rest.
Sleep training aims to teach your baby "independent sleep" without needing a prop like breastfeeding, rocking them, taking car rides, etc. Now this does not mean you will not be providing comfort for your child, but we will be working to break the association between props and sleep. Just as it happens for adults, babies might wake up at night, but when they know how to go back to sleep on their own there won't be any crying or stress because baby will naturally fall asleep again! Furthermore, when you help your baby achieve independent sleep they will begin looking forward to their bedtime, as they would not feel stress or associate it with feelings of discomfort
At Baby Sleeps Best, we believe that every child's journey to good sleep is unique. Our In-Home Sleep Training program is specially designed to provide personalized, compassionate support in the comfort of your own home. Our approach is gentle, evidence-based, and uniquely tailored to meet the specific needs of your child and your family.

Martha Carolina Parra is a Pediatric Sleep Consultant and Professional Nanny. In her career of over 10 years as a childcare provider she has encountered many babies with sleep issues and their frustrated parents. Carolina found joy in lending a helping hand to tired parents and infants, but always wished she could do more than providing a couple hours of relief that is why she decided to study sleep science and focus on "sleep training".
Her calm, kind, and soothing nature has allowed her to be a key member of all the households she has worked in and made a long-lasting impression on both parents and children alike; some of her charges, grown-up already still describe her as “their favorite caregiver” and she maintains contact with them to this day.
Her work with kids has allowed her to build a wide understanding of the many sleep-related problems babies can face and how they can affect their development and general well-being.
Carolina is a native of Colombia, bilingual, and fully proficient in English and Spanish; she received a degree as an English teacher and worked in the educational field before becoming a nanny.
